The UCLA Bruins women's basketball team, established in 1974, represents the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in the Big Ten Conference. The current coach is Cori Close. The team was a member of the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (AIAW) until joining the NCAA in 1984. The UCLA Bruins women's basketball team won the AIAW National Championship in 1978, and a banner commemorating the championship hangs in Pauley Pavilion, the current home of the Bruins basketball teams. The 2014–15 team won the 2015 WNIT championship. In the 2025 season, the Bruins made their first final four appearance in the modern era of the NCAA championship.

The UCLA Women’s Basketball Team, known as the UCLA Bruins, is a prominent and competitive program representing the University of California, Los Angeles. Renowned for their rich history and tradition of excellence, the team competes at the NCAA Division I level and is a member of the Pac-12 Conference. The Bruins have a storied legacy of success, including multiple conference championships and NCAA tournament appearances. Known for their dynamic playing style, skilled athletes, and strong team spirit, the UCLA Women’s Basketball Team continues to strive for excellence on the court while fostering student-athlete development both academically and athletically.
