History
Wayside Celtic F.C. was formed in 1948 by a group of men from the Kilternan area and played for the first few seasons in Stepaside before moving to Golden Ball, Kilternan
Many successful years were spent in the Golden Ball before moving to the club's new home, Jackson Park.
Before joining the Leinster Senior League, they had previously played in both the Athletic Union League and the Wicklow & District Football League
