The Serbia national under-19 football team (Serbian: Омладинска репрезентација Србије, romanized: Omladinska reprezentacija Srbije) is the national under-19 football team of Serbia and is controlled by the Football Association of Serbia. The team is considered the successor to the Serbia and Montenegro national under-19 football team, which in turn was the successor to the Yugoslavia national under-19 football team.

Serbia won their first U19 title as independent country at the 2013 UEFA European Under-19 Championship, where they beat France in the final 1–0.

History

The Yugoslav U18 team represented the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia until the country dissolved in 1992.

From 1995, the under-18 team represented the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. The FR Yugoslavia (and the team) changed its name to Serbia and Montenegro in 2003.

In 2006, Serbia and Montenegro separated and its governing body converted into the Football Association of Serbia.

The Serbia U19 national soccer team represents Serbia in international youth competitions and is composed of players under the age of 19. As a vital part of the Serbian Football Association, the team serves as a developmental platform for young talents aspiring to make their mark in professional soccer and potentially advance to the senior national team.

The squad is known for its technical skill, tactical awareness, and strong team cohesion, reflecting the rich soccer heritage of Serbia. Players are often drawn from the country's competitive youth academies and clubs, showcasing a blend of emerging talent and promising prospects. The team's coaching staff focuses on nurturing players' abilities, emphasizing both individual development and collective strategies.

Competing in various tournaments, including the UEFA European Under-19 Championship and friendly matches, Serbia U19 aims to build experience and foster a winning mentality. The team's colors, emblem, and passionate fan base contribute to a vibrant atmosphere during matches, as young athletes don the national jersey with pride, representing their country on the international stage. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on future success, Serbia U19 continues to be a crucial stepping stone for the next generation of Serbian soccer stars.
