The Hrvatska nogometna liga (pronounced [xř̩ʋaːtskaː nôɡomeːtnaː lǐːɡa]; lit.'Croatian Football League'), abbreviated as HNL and also known for sponsorship reasons as the SuperSport HNL, is the top Croatian professional football league competition, established in 1992. It was previously called Prva Hrvatska nogometna liga (1. HNL; lit.'First Croatian Football League'), but a league structure reorganization from 2022–23 led to name changes for the three top league levels.

The Croatia HNL, officially known as the Prva HNL (First Football League), is the premier professional football league in Croatia. Established in 1992, the tournament features a competitive lineup of clubs from across the country, showcasing the best talent in Croatian football.

The league operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Croatian Second Football League, ensuring a dynamic and competitive environment. Each season, teams compete in a round-robin format, with each club playing home and away matches against every other team. The season typically runs from August to May, culminating in a thrilling finale that determines the national champion.

The Croatia HNL is known for its passionate fan base, rich footballing history, and the development of homegrown talent. Clubs like Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split, and Rijeka have historically dominated the league, contributing to the vibrant football culture in the country.

In addition to the league title, teams also compete for qualification spots in European competitions, such as the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League, adding an extra layer of excitement and prestige to the tournament.

With its blend of fierce rivalries, emerging stars, and a commitment to the beautiful game, the Croatia HNL continues to be a vital part of Croatia's sporting landscape, captivating fans both locally and internationally.
