The Czech National Football League (Czech: Fotbalová národní liga, FNL), known as Chance Národní Liga due to sponsorship reasons, is the second level professional association football league in the Czech Republic. Before 2013 it was known as 2. liga or Druhá liga. The top two teams each season are eligible for promotion to the Czech First League.

The league replaced the I.ČNL (I. Česká národní liga; First Czech National League), which had been established following the end of the nationwide Czechoslovak Second League in 1977. The league became known as simply II. liga (Second League) in 1993 following the establishment of the Czech Republic as an independent state.

The Czech Republic 2. Liga, also known as the Fortuna:Národní liga for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier of professional football in the Czech Republic. Established in 1993, this competitive league serves as a crucial stepping stone for clubs aspiring to reach the top-flight Czech First League (Fortuna Liga).

The tournament features a diverse array of teams from across the country, showcasing emerging talent and providing a platform for clubs to develop their skills and strategies. Each season, teams compete in a round-robin format, with matches held both home and away, culminating in an exciting race for promotion to the top division.

The league is known for its passionate fan base, with supporters bringing vibrant energy to matches, creating an electric atmosphere in stadiums. The competition is fierce, as clubs vie not only for promotion but also to avoid relegation to the lower tiers of Czech football.

In addition to the thrill of the matches, the Czech Republic 2. Liga plays a vital role in the development of young players, many of whom go on to make their mark in the top leagues of Europe. The tournament is a showcase of skill, determination, and the rich footballing culture of the Czech Republic, making it a must-watch for fans and scouts alike.
