The Turkish Cup (Turkish: Türkiye Kupası) is an annual football cup competition in Turkey, run by the Turkish Football Federation since 1962. During a brief sponsorship period with Fortis, the name of the tournament was temporarily changed to Fortis Turkish Cup (Turkish: Fortis Türkiye Kupası). Currently, the cup is officially known as the Ziraat Turkish Cup (Turkish: Ziraat Türkiye Kupası) due to sponsorship by Turkish state-owned bank Ziraat Bankası.
The cup has been held under several different formats, including a pure knockout competition and group stages, as experimental. An expanded tournament format was adopted for the 2012–13 season, in which a record number of 156 teams participated. The format includes a round-robin group stage after five knockout rounds. Group winners and runners-up play in semi-finals and finals. The current reigning champion of the cup is Galatasaray S.K..
